"Lachy and his Hammond"

If music storms existed on this planet, it might as well be Lachy Doley's vocals and fiery instrumental performances you hear pulsating from cloud to cloud amidst flashes of lighting and claps of thunder - Rhythms Magazine

"Glenn Hughes Set To Burn"

In my opinion, Lachlan Doley is one of the greatest keyboard players of any generation - Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple MK3) - Sydney Morning Herald

"Album Review of Conviction"

The big, bold Hammond-plus-horns sound featured on Conviction provides an ideal setting for Lachy Doley’s robust baritone vocals. The Australian keyboardist’s instrumental flash and flair are also well showcased as is his considerable songwriting range. Breezy blues- “Betcha I’ll Getcha”, stylish funk- “Make It Up” and the soul ballad “Too Late” are highlights. - Roots Music Report

"Conviction Album Review"

These sounds grab you right by the throat. Occasionally it seems that Keith Emerson has been switched to the blues. But above all it is the voice of Lachy that impresses. Tight, strong, gray, husky and dark, but very firm tone and flawless singingr. A pleasure to listen to. - Blues Magazine Netherlands

"The Lachy Doley Group"

The third studio album from the "Jimi Hendrix of Hammond is out. It is the name of honour which he has been given in his native Australia. The keys playing of Lachy Doley is indeed beautiful, compelling and highly effective. Like its his blue throat. Plus the combination with his songwriting skills ensure that the third album "Conviction" has become a very addictive picture. - Indie Band Van Netherlands

Bio

Internationally renowned Lachy Doley is Australia's most celebrated Blues Rock Organ Player. He's been dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, a player who can pump, pamper and pound unbelievable, intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent sounds from his organ and clavinet. Add powerful blues vocals ripping straight from the heart and you've got one mesmerising and unforgettable show.

Their unique brand of Blues and Soul have seen them play 2 nights a BB. King’s in Memphis, 3 tours of Europe, multiple support shows for Joe Bonamassa, the #1 most played album on the OZ Blues and Roots charts for May 2015, 4 Albums, 1 DVD and a very lengthy belt of tours and festivals around Australia

Lachy Doley has also seen much of the world, recording and touring with acts as diverse as Glenn Hughes, Steve Vai, Jimmy Barnes, Powderfinger, The Beautiful Girls – more recently recording on a new album of Joe Bonamassa's which came out in 2015.

The group’s latest album “CONVICTION” released in MAY 2015 achieved the #1 Album on the iTunes Blues Charts as well as #1 on the Oz Blues and Roots Airplay Charts for May 2015. Their debut DVD “Live at 303” is a tasty slice of what the band sounds like live – pumping with energy and good times, and featuring both Lachy’s 1957 Hammond C3 organ and his custom-modified Hohner Whammy Clavinet – the only such machine in Australia.

The Lachy Doley Group have played over 250 shows and festivals around the world since their first release in 2011 including Memphis Blues Festival, Holland’s Culemborg Blues Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Mitchell Creek, Caloundra, PEAK Perisher Festival and have been the stand out hit at the Gold Coast's Blues On Broadbeach Festival for the last 5 years running.

Lachy's international profile has been steadily growing since he was headhunted by Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, Steve Vai and Chad Smith to record a new version of “Highway Star” – a project designed as a tribute to Deep Purple’s legendary organ player Jon Lord who had recently passed.

“One of the greatest keyboard players of any generation” - Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple MK3 and Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame Inductee)
