Contemporary jazz takes a spirited, eclectic leap forward with Quantum Jazz, a powerhouse four piece ensemble out of Denver whose swirled passions for funk, Latin, rock and smooth urban jazz was influenced by the wildly creative fusion jazz of the 70’s and 80’s. Each member is a veteran of various touring straight ahead and smooth jazz groups. Fueled by the tight, swanky grooves of Scott Fitzgerald (bass) and David Young (drums), the soaring electric guitar of Bill Kerr and the lush, beautiful alto and soprano saxes of Jim Arter, Quantum Jazz’s brilliant, multi-faceted debut is perfect for those who like jazz with an edge!

Combining their passions for jazz, rock, pop & soul music, The Last American Trio showcase their unique sound as they play great versions of classic songs along with soulful, jazz infused original compositions. These three musicians have carved out successful careers nationally as well as throughout Colorado. Each having been at the helm of some of the area’s most popular groups. After a chance meeting and a couple of informal jams, the chemistry was obvious and the trio was born.
