"Review of "everything" song from upcoming album"

www.musicreviewunsigned.com

"Dublin Singer songwriter Kevin Barry put together The Matinee Idles in 2008 after the release of his debut solo album "Looking for Murphy" The Matinee Idles are a seven piece outfit, they all have equal musical craft and qualities as this can be heard on their new single Everything, the powerful voice of Kevin on the song "Everything" is used in a very deep and passionate way, it almost is at one with every note and chord progression, I like dynamics in the song as they really lift the melody, it’s like a breath of fresh musical air to the ears, folk with strings of rock tones would sum up this song, plus the bonus DVD that comes with the single is enjoyable viewing too!"

"....One great song is Everything, by Dublin 6-piece The Matinee Idles. I was directed to this by the lovely folks at Army of ID, who crafted and put together the picturesque and intriguing video for the song. The four minute track was visually directed by ARMY of ID this band are sure to make it big, after hearing this musical snippet. It’s worth checking out, and pay attention to the imagery- it’s quite interesting. And yes, that is the Dublin pub The Stag’s Head..." - Music Review unsigned-Trevor Halpin
