With a five-piece horn section, three strong lead vocalists, and a driving rhythm section, The Maxwell Project (TMP) is best known for its creative interpretations of 70s and 80s R&B;, funk, and soul music and crowd-pleasing renditions of Earth, Wind, and Fire and Tower of Power classics. The groups repertoire includes selections to please nearly every audience. Not your everyday cover band, The Maxwell Project not only packs the dance floor but also adds a touch of sophistication to arrangements and enjoys connecting with the crowd.

PERFORMING AND RECORDING EXPERIENCE
Formerly Maxwell, the band has recorded three albums of original material, including its most recent release, Jamaphonic, which is available for preview and purchase on CDBaby.com. The group has appeared in concert with The Philly Intruders, Russell Thompkins, Jr., Voice of the Stylistics, The Spinners, Tom Browne, The Village People, The Trammps, McFadden & Whitehead, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, GQ, New Orleans-based trombone sensation, Bonarama and other well-known recording artists.

In 1979, foundation group Maxwell enjoyed widespread area radio play with two hit songsRadiation Funk and A New Starboth making it into the top 10 on local Top 40 charts.

Originally from Columbia, PA, the band performs regularly in the Central Pennsylvania and Philadelphia areas. In addition to private functions, in recent years, the group has appeared at numerous notable regional venues, including:
