This was first studio recorded album The Melon Heads recorded after getting signed to their record label Volonte Productions. Their manager now manager, Bruno Volonte, discovered their last ep "Watermelon Juice" off SoundCloud after it played randomly after an ad. This label provided them with professional assistance and equipment to make their best, most complete piece yet. "Maracuya" is the combination between tropical vibes and hard rap everyone's been looking for. They named it "Maracuya" after the translation of Passionfruit in spanish. John's South America background encouraged the group to embrace a new sound everyone in the group fell in love with. The heavy use of drums really makes the beat come to life. This is the true colors of the Melon Heads.

The Melon Heads are a rap group which formulated in the small town of Beacon Falls, Connecticut. Attending the high school of Regional Hill, the group bonded in the class of biology due to their love of music and passion for joking around during class. The group consist of 4 members Richard, Larry, Sam, and John. Richard produces and DJs, Larry, Sam, and John all create and perform the bars for each song. Richard's musical talents when playing in the school band is what really made the band come together. The others fed off the energy and put their minds together to create a sound which is unique to your average band.
The Melon Heads are the Run DMC of todays teens. They make sure to put every ounce of effort into making each studio session different from the last. Every song isn't only a different feeling but it's magical auditorial experience in every way. The band now is signed to Volonte Productions records which allows them to work with professionals and get the light they've been striving for, for years now. They've been on 2 sold out tours across the United States and plan on taking the world on in the next few months. The band is built for the top and won't stop until they get there. These small town individuals make it their priority to create rap music everyone can enjoy, everywhere.
