The Melt is a SF Bay Area outfit featuring members Todd Bugbee on Guitar/Vocals, Mingo Lewis Jr. on Drums, Harlan Rollins on Bass, Nick Hasty on Sax/EWI and Jeff Stevenson on Hammond B3 and keyboards. The Melt plays a blend of funky originals, jazz based grooves and obscure yet recognizable covers. It is high energy, intricate and very danceable with a strong back beat. The band is heavily influenced by amazing musicians such as John Scofield, Lettuce, Soulive, New Mastersounds, and The Meters.
