"The Most Best"

To the cool dude that send me the heads up on new electropop act The Most Best, yes, I think you’re right, I do vibe with indie/electronic female vocalist stuff, as you put it. I suppose that’s why I’m digging on The Most Best’s super infectious, pulsating electronic pop. It’s dark, just the way I like my electropop music, and full of playful hooks and synths. The mysterious new act reminds me of Grimes infused with a large dose of Robyn and some Crystal Castles. Gold is the Bonus Druthers signed artist’s first vivacious single. Its B-side is the awesomely titled Bitchy Beats, an ominous instrumental synthpop piece. - I Heart Moosiq

"Watch Out, by The Most Best"

You've heard them, you love them, The Most Best is back with their new EP "Watch Out" produced by friend of the show BritneyHouston. Get it here:

"The Most Best's new single now on sale"

The debut 7″ single from The Most Best is now on sale through Bandcamp. The pressing is limited to 150 copies on gold vinyl. The music itself is well worthy of a highlight, as “Gold” in particular has very ’80s-influenced synth work, a bit of industrial tossed in there. That latter touch is a nice contrast to the soft, delicate vocals of Cho Bot.

Meanwhile, “Bitchy Beats” takes a more robotic approach and feels like a track lost from the Drive soundtrack.

The single is now in stock and shipping. - Modern Vinyl

"My Favorite Taco - The Most Best"

The Echo Park collective known as The Most Best make catchy electronic pop that can be either chill, or danceable and are winning new fans in LA and worldwide thanks to the single “Gold” (stream below). The band plays TONIGHT at Lot 1 in Echo Park, and on March 10th at Harvard and Stone. They also really know their tacos, as we found out below… - L.A. Taco

""Watch Out" Music Video by The Most Best (Premiere)"

The Echo Park music collective known as The Most Best came to its most recent incarnation after ringleader Andrew Phan (who formerly performed in De Lux) moved across the street from Psychic Love vocalist Laura Peters. The new neighbors soon collaborated and the Watch Out EP (dropping February 3rd) is the result. Here’s its title track which is an indie rock appropriation of funk pop resuscitated by Peters’ vox which channels Debbie Harry: - Free Bike Valet

Bio

The first rendition of the Most Best developed in 2014, after producer Andrew Phan (BritneyHouston) joined together his collaborators: his sister Cho Bot (OKKO), Echo Park neighbor Laura Peters (Psychic Love) and New England music vets Liam McCormack (yellowbirddd) & Ricky Small. The band’s remaining lineup quickly fell into place, one by one, until there were eight.

An eclectic bunch that Phan has referred to as a “ragtag bunch of hipsters,” the Most Best offer an energetic live set combining electronic synth-pop, swirling psych-rock, and soulful vocals, complemented by the live projections of Los Angeles filmmaker Zambo. The Echo Park collective made their official introduction in January 2015 with the “Gold”/”Bitchy Beats” seven-inch single. “Watch Out,” a three-song sampler, began streaming on February 3.
