"Slightly 7 Inch"

"there’s that bit of straight rock and roll swagger coursing through their veins, but the songs are still enmeshed in a fine coating of venom."

Keith Rosson - Razorcake.com

"Slightly 7 Inch"

"I LOVE this record! The Mostly Dead play straight forward kick ass rock n roll in a no less than explosive manner... The Mostly Dead do nothing to hide their hardcore roots, but definitely take things a step further without falling into the “post hardcore” trap... songs that are interesting and breathtakingly urgent at the same time... you will be flipping it all night long."

Chris Mattern - - www.JerseyBeat.com

"Slightly & Alive 7 Inches"

"fast and aggressive... a sharp, focused listen. ...a solid 11-song collection of songs."

- Brian Shultz - - punknews.org

"The Mostly Dead"

"Flat out tough... Their debut seven inches confirm their talent... The recordings are tight, true post-hardcore, with composition that alternates between straight hardcore and more experimental arrangements"

- Matt Stabley - - NBC4.com

Bio

After recording several EPs with the likes of Brian McTernan and Joe Mitra, and then logging hundreds of miles touring the Eastern and Midwestern United States, The Mostly Dead spent most of 2013 working with Darkest Hour guitarist/mastermind Mike Schleibaum on the band's first full-length release. The result is Wilderness, an album that is equal parts punk rock, hardcore, and explosions. Wilderness is a lot like the experience of shotgunning a bunch of PBRs, taking your clothes off, and riding a dune buggy through an active firing range: loud, fast, chaotic, and FUN.
