Based out of Des Moines, IA, The Native has wasted no time establishing themselves.
Forming out of an idea from vocalist Jay Schneider, they began playing shows throughout the Midwest and recorded their first full length album "Prologue" at Ordinary Sounds with Engineer/Producer Nick Powell.
Drawing inspiration from bands like Rival Sons, Pink Floyd, Alabama Shakes, The Dear Hunter, Queen, and Led Zeppelin, The Native is constantly creating a new sound in the Iowa music scene. Bringing power, soul, and groove to the stage, they have quickly become a consistent performer in the Des Moines area and beyond.
