The Northwood High's is a group consisting of two Laurelville raised cousins, Jeremiah Payne and Tyler Stump. They are two students of The Ohio State University. Jeremiah is the lead vocalist as well as acoustic guitar player while Tyler jumps around between acoustic, banjo, hand percussion, and bass throughout the set. They bring different playing styles together to form something they like to call "New Age Folk" where the two play all acoustic instruments. Cover songs they like to do range anywhere from Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash to Sublime and Violent Femmes and everything in between while their originals bring out all of the genres they enjoy the most. The original songs they produce are meant to have somewhat hidden meanings that can be related to by many listeners in a number of ways.
