The Open Rays are a folk-rock band composed of guitar/voice, upright-bass and violin.
Their music, which can roughly be described as folk/rock chamber music, is the result of the serendipitous meeting of a B.C. Songwriter and two classically trained musicians from France. They have come together from across the globe to create a sound which is refreshing and unique.

The Open Rays est un projet folk rock à base d'un chant-guitare accompagné d'un contrebassiste et d'un violoniste.
Musique de chambre folk-rock tinté de couleurs jazzy, ce projet est issue de la rencontre d'un auteur-compositeur-interprète du "B.C." et deux musiciens de formation classique de la France. Ils se sont réunis à Montréal pour créer leur son unique et rafraîchissant.
