Royalty Records/Sony Music Canada recording artists, The Orchard are the Canadian Country/Americana duo that are hard to forget.
The Orchard's sophomore album "Georgia", recorded with Juno nominated producer Russell Broom, was released in August of 2014. The duo has released four radio singles from the album across Canada, getting airplay across the map. Singles include, She Don't Play Fair, Angel Eyes and Gone Missin'.
The Orchard is continuously pulling from what seems to be a bottomless pit of sounds and inspirations. Strong song structures mixed with a love for improvised music makes for a slightly different show each time.
The ACMA (Alberta Country Music Association) has recognized, The Orchard in nominating them for several awards, including Group of The Year, Rising Star, Fans’ Choice and nominations for Song of the Year.
The Orchard is currently working on new music with iconic producer Jim Scott (Tedeschi Truck Band, Wilco, Dixie Chicks, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chilli Peppers) at OCL Studios in Calgary, AB.
