The Real Grandmaster Jay is a Hip Hop Icon that has been rapping, deejaying producing, touring, and managing for the last 39 years. Loved by many and hated by others he is the walking definition of a musical and marketing genius. Not to be confused with the late Jam Master jay of RUn DMC or Grandmaster Flash of The Furious Five, GMJ was recently recognized as a Hip Hop Icon by the likes of Grandmaster Caz, Grandmaster Melle Mel, Jazzy Jay, and others during the 40th Hip Hop Anniversary in The Bronx New York. If you dont know Grandmaster Jay you dont know real Hip Hop History.
