Bio
In a dimly lit storefront apartment in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, a place
that has birthed many musical legends, they call him Mr. Mayor. He sits encrusted in a
smoke filled room with hints of his favorite nectar brewing from his lips (which many
have described as sexier than Denzel Washington) filling the air, lounging in a historical
antebellum grand chair glaring out a large bay window. He scans his mental file cabinet
of 200 plus songs – “what to include on my first album?” he mutters.
Maybe it is the idea of one of Brooklyn's finest rappers and grimiest emcees pouncing
about, - anyone who knows him knows he’s not the type to conform to the ordinary. In
fact, it's one of the many qualities that highlight this young man, who many refer to as
the Mayor of New York. In fact, once you listen to his music, you’ll know without a
doubt, he is the Mayor! His booming, raspy voice will perhaps become the most distinct
in the game. His flow is clean, but complex like the t-shirts from his clothing line. It’s all
HISTORY IN THE MAKING!
Spending time upstate NYC proved to be a great motivator, as the
Panamanian/Dominican mixed, Brooklyn-bred true hustler at heart infuses life
experiences and evolution to craft his musical style. Unlike others, this young man
standing at six feet three, 182 pounds and pure muscle sporting a 12 pack refuses to let
his past dictate his future. A mogul in the making will soon release his highly anticipated
album that is sure to push him into the upper tier of popular rappers and revive the
strength that "Brooklyn's known for the greatest rappers" moniker. Not one for using
catchy phrases in his music or concerned with the fads of rap artists today, listeners will
be taken on a musical journey where positive messages for the future (based on truth
and his wisdom) will rule. One could only concluded after listening to Mr. Mayor’s work
that he is a leader and ready to the world.
