Bio
Solar Sound System is an experimental synth-pop duo from Chicago whose
members include brothers CJ LaFleur and Stephen LaFleur. Both
songwriters collaborate to produce heavy synth rock music. Songs and
electronic arrangements are performed live, along with live drums, CJ
LaFleur, and live vocals and synthesizer, Stephen LaFleur. Their music
combines high-energy electro with the vibes of alternative rock. This
has given the band opportunities to perform at both rock shows around
Chicago and electronic shows, such as the Soundz Of The Forest
electronic music festival.
