The Talent

Formed in 2014, The Talent, consisting of childhood friends Garrett Denton (Vocals), Vince Prickett (Guitar), and Justin Arrington (Bass), with a love of all things Rock, came together in the small mountain town of Waynesville, North Carolina - where Rock/Pop/Post Hardcore was an unheard of genre and the rooted Folk, Bluegrass, and Country flourished. However, this wouldn't present itself as a problem for the band. Instead, with the goal of success in mind and and an unwavering passion and drive, they would continue to work hard and write melodious and catchy songs that people could relate to and love. Over the next two years, through trial and error, they would expend four different drummers before finally settling with mutual childhood friend Josh Henderson, who brought his alternative metal background fused with an energetic pocket playing style which ultimately helped define the sound The Talent hoped to achieve. In the months to come they would also add Andrew Devlin to the lineup, who proved to be palpable asset to the group by bringing with him his love for Mainstream Rock, Punk and Metal. Together, as a melting pot of influences and backgrounds, they are quickly becoming part of the regions growing diverse music scene. In 2017 they released their first EP titled "Love's Traphouse." The album has already garnered a buzz as far as Texas, New York, Illinois, and California.
