The Dave Reese Group

Dave Reese is a Professional Jazz Rock Singer/Songwriter/Keyboardist, and Producer from Philadelphia.

Starting out at the very young age of seven, he was enjoying, studying and playing music. Being influenced greatly by the legendary players and groups of the Classic Rock era of the 60’s and 70’s, the Cool Jazz Era of the 50's and 60's, and the funk era of the 70's. He starting singing and songwriting at the age of sixteen. At that point, he knew, God was calling him for a life in music. He started playing professionally in the hard rock group Entrance at the age of 19. After Entrance disbanded in 2013, Dave delved deep into the study of Jazz, being greatly touched especially by the Smooth Jazz Fusion of the 70’s and the great Cool Jazz of the 50’s and 60’s. He started the Jazz rock group The Time Travelers in Mid 2014, which developed and lead into his current solo career.

Dave's love and study of many styles of music, as well as his strong Christian faith and spirituality enables him to experiment and discover new ways and ideas, which as a result, makes his music new, unique, yet inspired by the greats, and allows his music to touch and draw close, not only to him, but to the listener and the world itself.
