The Township

      Taking sounds from country, pop, and rock & roll to create their unique sound, the Township is comprised of four members: Tianda (songwriter, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitar), Kalan Exner (drums), Allen Schmidt (lead guitar) and Kevin Vos (bass, vocalist). A few jams and writing sessions after meeting, the group officially formed in the summer of 2013. Tianda, a singer with a passion for storytelling, had been writing and performing her entire life - hitting the stage at local and nationwide competitions, forging her path in the music world at the age of 15. Kalan and Kevin were making their mark as well- playing in and touring with multiple bands, as well as releasing various albums along their way.. Eventually, the three of them crossed paths while volunteering their talents in a local church, and quickly recognized that when together, they were a triple threat. With the addition of Allen Schmidt on guitar later that year, they took his immense talent and tour experience, and hit the ground running.

      Since then, the members of the Township have been hard at work writing, rehearsing, and recording their original tracks. Armed with their first few singles, and a catalogue of radio-friendly hits-to-be, they completed their official debut into the music scene in May 2014. A unique mix of rock & roll dance tunes, two-steppers, power ballads, and classic country songs about their very own hometowns, this band is one that you definitely can't miss!
