Still working on that hot first release.

The Trouble Tones is a high energy Blues Band. Great song selection and passion combine for the new "Best New Blues Band" in Atlanta. Serious musical dues have been paid by members, including:

Garrett Bagby first picked up the guitar at 13 years old, inspired by legends like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He soon began playing in local bands and hasn't stopped since. Music has been a lifelong passion and although he enjoys many musical styles, the blues has always been at the center of his guitar playing.

Calvin Kelley has been performing live and in studio for well over 25 years now. He studied music at Georgia Southern University and has an Executive Masters in Business from Colorado Tech. He has had the opportunity to play and record with many successful artist such as, Will Turpin and the Way, ARHBand, Rupert's Orchestra, and JCP, just to name a few. Calvin has deep experience in complex percussion arranging as he has composed percussion arrangements for the World Finalist Atlanta Corpvets (Drum and Bugle Corp), Celerity Percussion Theatre (Independent Drumline), HEROS Percussion Theatre (Independent Drumline), Court of Honor (Drum and Bugle Corps), and many high school marching bands around the Southeastern United States. This experience translates into solid timing, rhythmic accuracy, and a unique musical approach to playing drums. Calvin has recorded and performed drum set and percussion on many styles of music from R&B, Soul, Gospel to Rock, Blues, and Country. Calvin is excited to be settling in and surrounded by the incredible talent known as the Trouble Tones.

Patrick Vining, as the son of a church choir director, began singing in church almost as soon as he could talk. In the 25 years or so that Patrick has been performing, he has recorded for 4 different record labels (Ichiban, JSP, CMO, and Blues Boulevard), toured all over the country and abroad.

Raised on many different types of music, Patrick found his niche with the Blues. After a small period of recharging his spiritual batteries while not performing, Patrick is thrilled to be part of an exciting, talented new band, The Trouble Tones.

Mike began playing bass in his early teens. He minored in Music at UGA and was a part of the amazing Athens GA music scene in the 80's. Later he played with the Street Poets, best local band winners from 1999 Creative Loafing. He's never really stopped performing and studying. His mission with The Trouble Tones is to make people who never dance start dancing.
