Not That Lucky

Written By: Charlie Eschbach

Not That Lucky
Charlie Eschbach

She's got them eyes that make my wallet lighter
She's got that look that makes my jeans tighter
The way she whispers in my ear, the things I wanna hear
Then I wake up to realize
That girl is his and not mine

‘cause I’m not that lucky
Shell after shell without a pearl
‘cause I’m not that lucky
Waiting in a three leaf clover world
Can’t catch a break from from Cali to Kentucky
I’m not that lucky

I bought a ticket, saw it on tv
Every number came up as meant to be
Every one a match, thinking how to spend my cash
On cars, boats and airplanes
But the ticket was dated yesterday

Not that lucky
Shell after shell without a pearl
‘cause I’m not that lucky
Waiting in a three leaf clover world
Can’t catch a break from from Cali to Kentucky
I’m not that lucky

It happens to me all the time, there’s no surprise
Give me one good day and I’ll be fine

‘cause I’m not that lucky
Shell after shell without a pearl
‘cause I’m not that lucky
Stuck inside this 3 leaf clover world
‘cause I’m not that lucky
‘cause I’m not that lucky
‘cause I’m not that lucky

Save The Worm

Written By: CHARLIE ESCHBACH

I'm just a worm from your backyard
Your girls at home alone, love's getting dark
but she's still hooked on you
so before you hook me too
There's just one thing left for you to do

Save the worm, go get the girl
Put down that rod and reel and hook her world
Save the worm, go get the girl
go back and tackle what she craves and
save the worm

I thought you had to catch a fish to call this fishing
Been out here since six, but what your missing
There will come a day when she catches someone elses bait
So please please let me crawl away and

Save the worm, go get the girl
Put down that rod and reel and hook her world
Save the worm, go get the girl
Go back and tackle what she craves and
save the worm

It’s a matter of love and death you see?
Cause I just seen the big one under that ol tree

Save the worm, go get the girl
Put down that rod and reel and hook her world
Save the worm, go get the girl
Go back and tackle what she craves
save the worm

Southern Time

Written By: Charlie Eschbach

I know some people who love the city pace
A new York minute is more than I can take
Give me a sunset under Tennessee pine
and sentence me to doing southern time

Never been up on the Empire State
or stepped on a star on the walk of fame
If its a tragic homegrown crime
then I'm just doing my southern time

Southern time in the smokey mountain's majesty
Southern time back wood memories in front of me
Rocking on the back porch swing with your hand in mine
and we're both doing southern time
we're both doing southern time

some say I'm losing the rest of my years
I say I'm gaining time just sitting here
Blue yonder's selling and I ain't buying
I'm banking on the promise of southern time

One day I'll see my old friends
they'll show me around the promised land
Don't you worry, I'll be jsut fine
for now I'm serving southern time
we're both serving our southern time
we're all serving our southern time
