A fresh and melodic take on modern R&B from two artists to watch.
April 2020 - Summers Ovver & Litty Lee recently joined forces in order to create a new, exciting release. Their collaborative single is titled “Slow On You,” and it captures the best modern R&B vibes, with some unique pop melodies.
Two different artists, two distinctive personalities. However, the clash of these different creative worlds allows something amazing to happen, and this is definitely what’s happening here. It is not easy to write a song on a collaborative basis, especially when two (or more) minds come at it with their own creative impulse. Music collaboration is all about subtlety and truly trying to find that subtle balance, and in this case, Summers Ovver & Litty Lee definitely managed to hit the jackpot with what the were able to achieve musically and personally. These two talented performers managed to strike a perfect balance between their different backgrounds and creative approaches. As a result, “Slow On You” hits the mark with a catchy, dynamic and unpredictable arrangement that leaves the audience wanting more. The tracks feels like a perfect compromise between energy and melody, making for a truly exciting feel. The verses are slightly held back, in order to allow the main hooks to really stand out and branch out. This is when the release reaches is absolute apex, and when the song has its greatest emotional payoff, really bringing the point home!
In addition to the charismatic performances captured on the track, the sound quality is excellent, with the song going for a clean, polished modern twist that knows no boundaries in terms of trying different creative solutions and setting the bar higher with some spectacular new ideas that enhance the final result.
“Slow On You” should definitely be on your radar, especially if you are a fan of genres like modern pop, neo-soul and R&B music.
