The Wave Pool fusion Project - contemporary jazz, fusion - came into existence in the year 2012 basing its roots on the band previously named No MercyProject, which was established in 2001, writing and performing in the Greater Toronto Area. Presently,The Wave Pool fusion Project is comprised of musicians with an extreme similarity in musical savor and receptivity, enabling the band to focus their main trend on jazz.
"The Wave Pool fusion Project" constantly seeks to incorporate new moods, styles and concepts, into the traditional characteristics of North-American Jazz. The European roots of the members of "The Wave Pool fusion Project" are evident and have unquestionable impact upon the final shape of performed compositions.

The Repertoire of The Wave Pool fusion Project is comprised of their own unique compositions, supported by modern sound as well as inimitable and innovative arrangements. Their style and musical structure have unique harmonic and rhythmic form, and through a variety and flexibility of improvisations ensure no two identical performances.

The musicians of The Wave Pool fusion Project have shaped their musical personalities partly through the influence of such performers as Weather Report, Tribal Tech, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Robben Ford, Yellowjackets,John McLaughlin, Joey De Francesco, Jack DeJohnete and many others.
