Bio
Forming officially in 2014, starting as a solo acoustic side project of lead singer Chris Doucett but expanding into a full band to turn into something so much more. Following in the sounds of bands like Jimmy Eat World, Hollerado, and illScarlett, The Way Out captures the simple story telling and structure of folk rock music mixed with the powerful raw emotions of pop-punk. The band entered Acrylic Studios with producer Harley Butt in May of 2014 to work on their debut EP which was released in February 2015.
