Lyrics

Johnny the Squirrel

Written By: James Williams & Phillip Williams

Johnny the Squirell woke up one day, looked like it was going to rain.
Not much preparation had he made, thought he figure it out on that day.
Me oh my, baby oh shucks got go out and collect my nuts, but on his lazy butt that squirrel he stayed, tell you what you know he's gonna pay...
One day just like he thought that ole rain mother nature brought. When he looked down into his stash he said oh naw man I don't think this is gonna last....
We all know that that ain't gonna do, he had to find someway that he could get through. Freddy the Turtle baby thats where i'll go, get my tired tail up out of this snow...
"Hello Freddy baby how are you?" "I'm fine I was just gonna bed, would you like to come in for a drink, do you like em dark or do you like em sweet?"
Freddie always was a ladies man ole girls coming back again, all he'd do he'd just chase em away, but that's where those ole girls just would not stay.
Oh yeah this time was fine, all kinds a woman and sure nuff wine, but finally Johnny got sick of that scene, he had to go back where he could be free.
Next year when it rolled round, that ole squirrel was way underground, he had a little house and a wife of his own. Livin he was chillin, baby callin it home.
When that squirrel would sit in his favorite chair he'd think about Freddy the Turtle and everything he'd done there, one thing he knew above all else...
The wine wouldn't get em, but the women will (3x)
