101.The.band

The 101 Band has been writing and performing together in New England throughout the last decade. They recently released their second CD, titled As The Crows Fly.

This six-piece band gets its roots from 60’s and 70’s music talents such as Neil Young, Steely Dan, The Greatful Dead, and The Band. While performing, the 101 Bands’ three Lead singers – Don Langella, John Tomasiewicz, & Jim Baldoni blend vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Beach Boys, and the Kingston Trio. In addition to the three guitars, The 101 rounds its performance with keyboards and a rhythm section lead by Dave Kelly & Paul Fioretti. With additional Lead guitarist Jens Haulund, the 101 Band produces a delicate sound of delightful Americano music rich with intricate rhythm leads and fills.

The 101 band has played the Hamden Summer Music festival, where they opened for Jay Black and the Americans. In addition, they can be seen regularly at Leon’s- New Haven, CT., Daniel Street Milford, CT., The Windsock Grill Lordship, CT., and CJ Sparrows Cheshire, CT.
