Bio
“The 13th Hour” began when Joe dusted off his Hammond Organ in the basement of his house and wondered, “I wonder if it still works?”. Plugging it in he rediscovered the joy of playing. Calling upon old friends and band mates for a “jam”, the band began it’s resurgence in the winter of 2004, quickly mastering some old tunes, learning some new, and hitting the road once again. The band has been the featured performer at Kimstock 2004, 05, 06 and 07, The Black River Barn, Orpan Annie’s, Chatam Fire Department’s Pig Roast/Fundraiser, KC’s Tavern in South Plainfield, The Mountain View Inn in Long Valley, The Washington Township Fall Festival, and various other establishments, private parties and events. The band covers such artists as Stevie Ray Vaughan. The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Santana & Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name a few.
