Bio

On a dark and rainy night 3 years ago, Ed Zuehlke (drums) and Shae Lappen (lead vocals, guitar) met for the first time when Ed hit Shae's car at an uncontrolled intersection. After getting to know one another, they decided to form a band and recruited the best of local musicians to form an as of yet nameless band. Then they threw one of the largest parties in their warehouse practice space that the Northeastern Wisconsin city of Manitowoc has ever seen--so large that the police had warrants for their arrests. After spending a night in jail, Dan Mena (bass) bailed them each out with $400 dollars in pennies. This is how the Four Hundred began.
Then, they played at the Rave, opening for the Black Keys.
Now they want to play Summerfest.
