Who is The 4x4 Crew? SJ, Burna Boi, Truuf tha Nusence, and DJ Fatality come together as one entity to form not only a hip hop group, but a brother hood as well. Ages ranging from 20 to 23 years old, The 4x4 Crew is no stranger to the grind. Since the summer of 2005 they have successfully established a name in the local industry as being the hardest working group in Arkansas. Still going hard in the fall of 2009, The 4x4 Crew is ready to take their career to the next level. Having accomplished so much in the local scene, they are ready to share their talent with the world! Each member has many talents. SJ and Burna Boi have produced and hosted over 25 episodes of a local TV show called Rock Town Lock Down. Giving back to the local scene, they have interviewed and spotlighted local artists while paying their dues in the industry. DJ Fatality puts out 2 mix tapes a month with a local favorite being Tennessey Kingpin featuring Project Pat. They also have been involved in the community, by doing the theme song for the Stop The Violence campaign and much more. The 4x4 Crew has performed at almost every venue in the Little Rock area. From Juneteenth to local high schools they have built a fan base that supports and follows them. They have traveled outside of Arkansas to perform in Dallas, Atlanta, Mississippi, and Memphis. With over 200 shows on their resume, 10 mixedtapes, and over 10,000 CDs distributed nationally, The 4x4 Crew is prepared for whatever comes their way! The 4x4 Crew’s album “4 Brothers” which was released in the spring of 2009 has been a huge success. The singles “Pic It Up” and “Tell Yo Moma (I’m from Arkansas)” have been a local favorites. Arkansas is highly anticipating the release of “U R B A L” in the Spring of 2010. “U R B A L” is going to display a coming together of Kuntry and City. You will be able to see the diversity that The 4x4 Crew displays. Where does The 4x4 Crew’s passion for success come from? They have been in a battle with real life obstacles. Every member of the group lost their jobs within the month of October 2009. With each of them having responsibilities that music thus far has not been able to fund, this has given them the drive and ambition to push forward and go harder than ever. With families to support and children to provide life’s essentials to, this has made The 4x4 Crew’s motivation to revolutionize the industry the forefront of their lives.
