"CD Baby Review"

“Adrienne Hindmarsh! Remember this name! She sounds like vibrato less sweet female singers from the 50's .It's rare. The disc is smooth and tender. I recommend it, it's a pleasure for people that like cool jazz vocal..” - CD Baby

Adrienne Hindmarsh is a new generation Hammond B3 organist and a fixture of the Columbus, Ohio Hammond B3 scene which has yielded such late greats as Don Patterson and Hank Marr, and includes living legends Tony Monaco and Bobby Floyd.
As a protégé of organ star Tony Monaco she follows in the tradition of exciting Hammond pyrotechnics and swinging grooves.
As a vocalist Adrienne’s repertoire includes classics from the great American songbook made famous by Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington, as well as smooth Bossa-novas from the great Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Recent engagements in the USA have included Blue Wisp jazz club in Cincinnati, Columbus festivals such as Comfest and the Hot Times festival.
International engagements in Australia include the Brisbane Jazz Club, Melbourne Hammond Spectacular and the 2007 Norfolk Island Jazz Festival.
