The Affect was born out of the ashes of up and coming Tulsa bands, Driven and Chemical X. After the demise of Chemical X, drummer Nate Jones and guitarist Justin Huggins began the daunting search for a new vocalist. The found the missing piece to the puzzle in vocalist Matt Montgomery.
