Bio
The Affect is a band from Pittsburgh, Pa. The band was formed in 2006 by Anthony Elliott and Alex Ammons. Since then, they have performed numerous shows and just recently won a local talent search that enabled them to go into the studio to record a new demo soon to be released. After some changes in band mates, Alex and Anthony added a new member to the band, Bret Stark.
Bret Stark (17) lead guitarist, has a strong classical background combined with a love for rock and metal. Bret has been playing guitar since he was in elementary school.
Anthony Elliott (16) bassist/backup vocalist, and co founder of The Affect, has been playing the bass for four years. He and Alex co write many of the originals together.
Alex Ammons (16) lead vocalist/piano/ guitar, and co founder of The Affect has been studying music his entire life. He has been singing since pre k and has performed all over the Pittsburgh area. He is also a very talented song writer.
