Bio
In early 2008 a group of close friends heavily influenced by the like of bands such as Alexisonfire, Funeral for a Friend & Reuben began working together musically. Despite having no particular blueprint from the beginning the band developed a more solid sound influenced by the likes of While She Sleeps, Architects & Deaf Havana. This leading to the loyal local following gained from their persistent energetic shows and well developed sound.In late 2010 after a long elimination process of competitive heats the band went on to gain the title of Reading Battle of the Bands winners. This led onto the launch of the new EP, “Treading Water” recorded at 'The Whitehouse Studios' Reading, together with endorsements from Dovetail Strings and Knee Deep Clothing. The band is now working on their new record, which is due for release late summer 2011.Having now shared stages with many of the top local bands as well as support for Shadows Chasing Ghosts the band progressed to headlining one of Readings top venues alongside having regular airplay on Newbury Sound and Blast FM.
