the Alacrity BIO 09/12/17

"The Alacrity" is lead by Jason Alacrity who began making electronic music in the early nineties and has fronted such electronic industrial bands such as SLAVEONE and Willow Feverdream.

The debut solo album from Jason Alacrity entitled "the Times of Light & Iron" was released in 2008 on the underground label Shinto Records to critical acclaim.

Over the past ten years, Jason Alacrity has been released on various compilations and performed live all over the U.S. opening for such acts as Babyland, Trance to the Sun, Song of Zarathustra, The Crooked Cowboy and Freshwater Indians, Stromkern and most recently kicking off the "In Solvent See" tour for Skinny Puppy at the Glass House in Pomona CA.

The new album "SHAPESHIFTER" is due out early 2010 on Shinto Records and iTunes.
