Nominated for the 2009 Westword Music Showcase “Best Pop Band in Denver,” The Alan Baird Project’s eclectic, defiant and dynamic sound can be heard on Denver radio stations including 105.9, 99.5, 93.3, and 101.5. Creating a fusion of funk, indie, country, R&B, rock, and dirty ass blues, this foursome blends their varying, individual influences into an explosively progressive and versatile indie rock. Winners of the 2008 Progressive Motion Battle of the Bands and the 2008 Rock City Productions Battle of the Bands, the “Project” has headlined sold out shows at the Marquis Theater and opened for headliners including Fun, Your Vegas and Breath Carolina at key venues including The Bluebird Theater, The Gothic Theater, and Herman’s Hideaway.
