The All New Cold Cold Hearts were born in the smoky darkness of the Candle Club open mic night in Southampton, UK where Will, Robin and Rhod regularly performed with others (but not collectively). Despite being acquainted it took almost two years before Robin, needing a band to test the limits of his new home recording equipment, dragged the group together. The first afternoon of this new collaboration is captured in the first two tracks of their first demo, recorded within a few hours of coming together in May 2007. Robin then enlisted old Uni mate Steve and friend of a friend Elina to provide a fuller, distinct sound. The line-up complete the band is currently working on an eight track EP with an eye on completion in October. All in their 20s the Cold Cold Hearts sound pays respect to the past great storytellers of their parents generation while making music that is accessible to all.
