Bio

They say nothing good comes out of Long Island, but with hard work and an electrifying pop-punk sound The All-Starz are out to prove the haters wrong. Perhaps their energy comes from being so young, but it’s more likely that it comes from the drive to succeed, something the band as a whole has committed to by playing relentlessly all over the east coast for the past four years.
Phil, JD, Greg and Pete may be a young bunch of punks, but their sound rivals that of seasoned influences like Green Day and other counterparts Blink-182 or Sum 41. Their catchy choruses and pitch-perfect harmonies are ably backed by searing guitar riffs and pounding drum beats, resulting in tunes that stick like chewed gum inside your brain. Though they may have the same fresh from the skatepark look as their punk rock brothers, The All-Starz are nothing if not original.
In 2001 the band began simply, with a goal to play some local gigs. Quickly building a solid fan base, they practiced diligently in the hopes of booking more professional shows. Handling all booking and promotion on their own, the group was able to build an impressive mailing list while playing at established Long Island haunts The Downtown and The Crazy Donkey. Those shows led to heavy rotation on The Box 107.1’s Tri -State Sounds and the band was featured nationally on Spike TV.
The All-Starz energy is evident on both their previously released CD, “Why Do You Look Like That?” and their newly released CD, “Till Death Do Us Part”, but is even more apparent at the live show. Live on stage is where the band seeks to connect with the audience not only through the music, but by letting their personalities out as they jump and dance all over.
To bring the music to as many fans as possible, the band has hired a management team, booking gigs with national acts such as Allister, Authority Zero, Ashley Parker Angel, Band Camp, Lit, The Reunion Show(Action Action), The Riddlin' Kids, Tokyo Rose, Wheatus and Zebrahead; and taking the stage at legendary NYC venues CBGB and The Knitting Factory. Though they are young, The All-Starz prove that with a lot of talent and hard work, rock glory is just around the corner.
