Bio
The Almighty Chancers were brought together out of a love for live music and as a project to keep the Isle of Wight's bands and music venues alive.
Hailing from the Isle of Wight, the band have enjoyed some fantastic and inspirational support slots including; Roy Ayers, The Peas, New Master Sounds, Scratch Perverts & The Cuban Brothers as well as appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival (Hipshaker Stage) and Bestival (Rizla Arena, Polka Tent & Bandstand).
Taking raw, organic soul and seamlessly blending it with infectious melodies and harmonies to create their own distinct musical flavour, these Chancers have already made a name for themselves with their live performances which have grown to incorporate a horn section and d.j.
After some encouraging sessions recorded with Paul Butler (The Bees / Devendra Banhart) under their belt, they are already enjoying transmission on foreign & local frequencies with a self-penned and recorded live album as well as embarking on new sessions for a debut studio long player in their independent studio.
Voted as UK's most inspired unsigned band by Radio 1 listeners & Rob Da Bank in a national Rizla competition.
