The Alpha Couple

The Alpha Couple formed in 2003 originally under the name Gas Can Pickup. While recording and releasing both a demo and a full length on their own, they toured regionally, sharing the stage with such acts as Spitalfield, The Junior Varsity, Halifax, Over It, and A Thorn For Every Heart.

The Band eventually caught the attention of hometown label, British Records and signed in spring 2005. While continuing to write for their next album the band was awarded a spot on the Chicago date of the Vans Warped Tour in 2005. The band was then featured on the fifth edition of “Songs from a Scene” , the annual event that showcases some of Chicago’s best up-and-coming musical talent (Past editions have seen appearances by The Plain White T’s & Fall Out Boy). The events organizer, Stubhy Pandav of Lucky Boys Confusion jumped on board as the producer for the bands upcoming album “Make A Mess” and brought along Dan Duszynski (Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights) to help.

Catch The Alpha Couple on a Midwest and east coast tour this summer as they prepare for the release of “Make A Mess”. They will be touring all fall and winter in support as well.
