Bio

We gig, we fight, we swear, we do it all politely. We rescue drowning kittens from lakes to woo attractive ladies passing by, then throw them in again and start all over. We hold Royalty to ransom, and donate the money to the Prince's Trust. We refuse to pay taxes. We don't condone jaunty hats or wearing clothes ten sizes too small for you. Playing music that's been played a million times before is also not advisable. We are a 5 piece rock band aged 19-20 who play new music and hail from Liverpool!!! We were described by Alicia Rose from ' The Nerve' as follows... "The Alphites were one of the conquering hero bands and they took to the stage with gusto and fervour. Theirs is a well-packaged and creatively artistic parcel of live performance encouraging tumultuous head rocking and being received with rapturous awe and applause (especially from the girls)". We have been describe in this month edition of Music Mart as follows…”The Alphites have got guitars, and are not afraid to use them! All five members sing.…Tens of thousands of myspace plays can’t be wrong. The band’s frenetic, whirlwind energy should give them a bit of a leg-up and some elbow room in an over populated genre". We hold the Title of Juice Fms': Next Big Thing 2006, and have headlined many venues, most notably Manchester Academy, Liverpool Academy, Camden Purple Turtle and Barfly Liverpool. Our most notable support slots include Rooney, the 747s, Hot Club de Paris, The Parkinsons and Ray Quinn. Yes, the bloke off X-Factor.

We were the first band to perform their own material on Channel Fours' Hollyoaks, much in the vein of the OC, which have included a list of bands such as The Killers, Jimmy Eat World, Rooney and The Subways. We released our debut single 'You're Not Ugly, You're Lovely' on itunes in July this year.

This is pretty much all you need to know about us. We're lovely guys, and you'd be proud to call us your sons. But you can't.
