The Amazing Sensationals are from Orange County, NY. All going to school together the band formed somewhat as a way to pass the time. Now after a few years, the band is at the top of its game.
At the most basic description we are rock? but there are no genres incorporated into The Amazing Sensationals song writing process. There are only good songs or bad songs. Influences include, but are not limited to, Frank Zappa, Talking Heads, WFMU, The Meters, Fugazi, Calvin and Hobbes, Kaada, Wu-Tang. The list can go on, and on.
The Amazing Sensationals are the perfect band for anyone suffering from ADD or ADHD. Shows can go from tear jerking to extreme chaos in the blink of an eye.
