The Ambience Affair

The Ambience Affair is currently comprised of one 22 year old singer-songwriter from Co.Meath called Jamie Clarke,and one drummer called Marc Gallagher.

Jamie has been playing and writing for about 7 years now and had many times been told that he has had a really weird musical background. He never got to listen to old music apart from The Beatles and Cohen- instead he was raised on the likes of the Manics,The Divine Comedy and stuff like early David Gray.This may send shudders down some spines but its all he knew way back when. Jamie was never the most sociable of adolescents and he spent a lot of his time in his room playing and writing. Jamie thinks his music is a progression from the artists who were inspired by the ones that he was meant to be listening to at that time.
About 6 months ago,drummer Marc Gallagher was drafted in to help Jamie access the kind of sound he was looking for to make the band progress musically.Having had numerous other bands previously,Marc had plenty of experience and the two just clicked immediately.

The Ambience Affair are just trying to forge out an identity musically in this world...to be known for creating something that won't sound dated in 10 years from now,without loosing its appeal. Their music is trying to be some way unique and actually mean something to someone other than them.
