The Anchors Glory came from the strong friend ship between Ty (formerly of Reconciled) and Von (formerly of Agape). As those bands came to an end they began playing together in small jam bands. After awhile the idea of being a serious band started to take from, Recreating two friends to fill out the band, until a week before the first show the other two left. After That Tyler and Devon called Garett King and Joe Rose. Joe and Garett had been college friends and were talented musicians.
The was the first Show March of 2010, composing mostly of covers and one original “It’s You” The Anchor’s Glory was born.
Shortly production went into writing and coming up with a new original sound mixing the different influences of each band member and soon “Not Enough” and “Dead End” were birthed.
The summer of 2010 The Anchor’s Glory played in Lancaster Ohio, as well as Huntington West Virginia for WEMM-FM 107.9 their rocking summer concert, as well as hometown area of Columbus Ohio’s Venue the Basement, West Jefferson’s Mustardseed Café.
In the fall it was back to writing and recording for the upcoming EP. The Anchor’s Glory is continuing on working on new music and reaching every fan out there.
