The Anita Lofton Project

Anita Lofton is a guitarist, singer-songwriter who knows her way around wah-wah, smallstone and rat pedals. As former lead guitarist for Sistas In The Pit, the all-black-girl rock band, she toured Europe & China, & later North America opening for Iggy Pop and The Stooges. The Anita Lofton Project was established over 8 years ago, illustrating an energy & Bay Area based bounty of styles, & rich instrumentation that stretches from current day fascinations to vintage rhythm & blues rock traditions.
