Bio
The Annandale Cardinals are an up and coming alt-country sextet from Minneapolis, MN fully invested in crafting the Northern sound. Born of a love for country and an addiction to rock and roll, The Annandale Cardinals keep trying to settle but refuse to stay down. Fresh off the heels of releasing their debut album, "Home," the band is looking forward to a summer of festivals, regional touring and writing new material for the next record.
Drawing influence from the songwriting of Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams, Tyler Haag crafts songs close to the heart dominated by stark landscapes and strenuous relationships. The dual electrics of John Bjorkman and Eric Frame are spankin' leads and powerhouse rhythms. Bassist Matt Day and drummer Joe Kill'em define a new blend of country and punk, and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cipolle fills in auxiliary piano, organ, banjo and harmonica.
