"Metal, Meet The Masses"

Everyone faces moments they would reflect on as turning points in their life. It is in these moments we decide what type of person we are. We could run and cower in fear, or stand and fight to become something better. Maryland based melodic metal band, The Annex Road, tells the story of what happens after the fight.

Not everyone's path is the same. Some of us go through many trials and tribulations before finding ourselves. Songs like "My Salvation" off their debut album, Echoes in Silence, tell the story of a man who spent much of his life selfish and alone. The song's beautifully destructive instrumentals supplied by guitarists Mike White and Ryan Delore push forward the story where we find the man in midst of a breakdown. It is as his weakest, he finds strength and in turn, finds a side of himself that is selfless and caring.

Sometimes it takes complete destruction of one's body and soul in order to rebuild. "The Massacre" is a song that describes that process in personal and deep description from singer Adam Churchwell. The song is an epic tale of love, hate, drugs, tribulation, and growth brought to you with instrumentals that can only be compared to war.

The Annex Road is set to release Echoes In Silence sometime late this year. In the meantime, you can check out clips of the songs, their video blog, and more at www.theannexroad.com - Mi2n.com

Bio

Many describe a great song as something that can capture the very core of emotion. A place without rules and regulations where listener and songwriter alike can express themselves through a tune. Hard Rock / Metal band, The Annex Road, finds that harmony with their fans and the music in their debut Album, Echoes In Silence.

The music itself can be described as intensely melodic with strong heavy overtones. Songs like “As Yet Untitled” and “Lose the Nothing” are perfect examples of that chemistry. The instrumentals provided by cousins Adam and Dan Churchwell are a beautifully destructive canvas for Singer Bri StiVoxx to paint her melodies over.

Fans of The Annex Road get so much more from the band than your normal live show and recordings. They keep listeners involved in everything the band does. From regular You Tube videos to sit downs they call “Meet, Greet, and Drink“, to allowing the dedicated street team members to preview and even co produce new songs.

The Annex Road is set to release singles from the album online throughout the rest of 2010 and the album/DVD combo in early 2011.
