The Anthem (Pop/Rock) was formerly known as VerseCity until they decided to sign w/ Foundation Recordings in June 2012. Though The Anthem may be a new name they have supported a slew of major acts, including Gym Class Heroes, Lifehouse, Boys Like Girls,? Cobra Starship, The Rocket Summer to name a few. The Anthem released their first EP, entitled "Out of Our Heads" during the summer of 2012. Since then the band has been writing new music, and are anxiously waiting its release. "Coming to see us live is the best way for our fans to hear our new music. We're very proud of it, and we're always excited to hear our audience's feedback." says frontman Micaiah Walker. "We had great support in our previous outing, and we knew it would be tough moving from from a strong social media base to starting over. However, we believe in ourselves, and we believe that in the long run, this change will be pivotal in helping us achieve our dreams."? The Anthem are a group of talented guys who want to impress audiences with their music, energy, and hard work.
