"The Apostles Rock Emergenza"

"The Apostles" proved to be very talented musicians when they pulled out the funk this evening. They had everyone in the room at attention with their strong vocals and soul. - www.emergenza.com

"Music Connection Magazine"

A five- song EP from this Atlanta quartet generates a bright, optimistic aura. The funky "Beautiful" has a tasty organ threaded through it. "On and On" is a reggae/ska influenced number as is "Common Ground," which is a shout out for peace and harmony. We like the fact that the band makes use of two distinctive lead vocalists who alternate from song to song. All in all, this is a cleanly produced disc from a group that shows crowd-pleasing potential.

Bio

Aaron Hall and Rob Lane are long time friends that first started playing music together in the Northeast and eventually, without plan, ended up in Georgia. Aaron's past is heavily influenced by gospel, hip-hop, soul, and reggae roots which presents itself in his broad vocal range and energetic live perfomances. Rob Lane has played in various funk and jazz bands and plays a very tasty guitar. Some would say he's a guitar players "guitar player." Aaron and Rob have formed unique vocal harmonies which absolutely win over a crowd and eventually have them singing along.
Alan Gary is originally from California and has done much traveling and searching eventually migrating east and ending up in Georgia. He plays a mean funky 4 string and writes very original bass lines. He's got a good ear for changes and keeping it in the pocket. Martin Adam, the newest member of the band is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. His style can range through various genres but is always on time. He focuses on solidity and being an energetic force behind The Apostles sound while establishing an original rythm with Alan Gary.
