Bio
The Appreciation Post is Jim Keaney & Ted Carlson's latest attempt at music. After the break-up of their former band Roxie, they began writing and recording songs together in their Quincy, MA apartment with roommate/guitarist Scott Morganella (Junction 18). Moog synthesizers were generously added, and with big guitars and melodic vocals, The Appreciation Post offer a smarter, layered incarnation of Roxie's powerpop past. Vietnam Le joins the group on bass and Roger Lussier takes the controls on Moog synthesizer. After just finishing their first release "The Appreciation Post EP", the guys are already looking for producers/labels to work with on a full-length.
Although The Appreciation Post is a fairly new group, it's members are no strangers to the road. Jim and Ted's last band Roxie toured the Northeast many times and released 2 records; one which graced our television sets as the soundtrack to a FOX Sports Network TV special - scoring the band a music video op with the New England Patriot's cheerleaders. Scott Morganella pulls double-duty also playing guitar for Fearless recording artist: Junction 18, who tour a large part of the year. The Appreciation Post will be no different. These guys know that touring is where it's at, so that's where they'll be! Keep an eye out this Summer/Fall for The Appreciation Post LIVE.
