Bio

The Arcadian Kicks are co-managed by Jon Brookes (from The Charlatans) and they recorded their self financed debut album in early 2010 which was produced & mixed by Mike Chapman (Blondie's legendary producer of Parallel Lines, Eat To The Beat and Auto American amongst many other hit artists).
Mike Chapman : "I can honestly say that making this record was right up there with the best work I've done. Any time you get to work with kids who have their kind of skills, you are reminded on a daily basis of why you got into this business in the first place. I love these kids!!"

The Arcadian Kicks released their debut single, "19 Days", in August on One Beat Records via EMI.
For a new band it received a great reaction at radio and picked up plays on BBC Radio 2, 6 Music, Kerrang and many other regional stations.

Off the back of this profile boost they were awarded the prestigious “Band of the Week” in UK national newspaper, The Independent.

To build interest in the single the band have been on a UK tour since March climaxing at the Wychwood and Isle Of Wight Festivals in June then T in the Park (BBC Introducing Stage) & Napa Live Festival in Ayia Napa, Cyprus in July.
Footage of the band playing T in the park was shown on BBC2 Scotland and three of the songs were made available to view on the BBC Iplayer. You can view a track here called “I Can’t Sleep.” (This song was released on the Strummerville charity compilation album for Jail Guitar Doors project, "Breaking Rocks") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xVzinbmDTs
The band have also given away a free download of a song called "Black & White” which has received hundreds of downloads in return for fans email addresses.
