Bio

The Arguments Purveyors of Rhythm n Soul since 2005 Formed in April 2005, and based in Glasgow Scotland UK. The Arguments have seen only two changes to the current line-up. Original members being David O’Hara (guitar & vocals), Paul Moody (saxophone & keyboards & backing vocals), Alan Law (bass & vocals), being joined by Barry Morgan (drums & percussion & vocals) in October 2005, with Sean McFadden (guitar) joining up June 2007. The Arguments have been on the stage of most of Glasgow’s well known venues including The Carling Academy, The Barrowlands, The Arches, The Bar Fly, Nice n Sleazys, The Classic Grand, Vertigo, The Cathouse, The Carnival Arts Centre, 13th Note and The Soundhaus. The Arguments have started to get some airplay on local and national radio stations including xfm Scotland’s Xposure with Jim Gellatly, Q96 Radio with Thea Newcombe and Sunny Govan Radio with Billy Boyd. Also featuring on a collection of Internet Radio Stations across the globe. Highlights so far being support to MOGWAI at The Arches Glasgow and soon to appear as support to ALABAMA 3 at JAMM Brixton London. The Arguments recorded their first 4 track EP in July 2006 with Kevin Burleigh at Central Sound Studios Glasgow featuring “Missing My Soul”, “Class A Wired”, “I Like The Way You Walk” and “Pink Flowers”. As all band members have varied influences, we think it brings out something different in our music, as stated in most of our reviews “difficult to pigeon hole their sound”. Have a listen and if you so wish comment as critical as you like. Big Love ….
